Hangs, Trips & Events

Wannahang features a number of possible ways users can organize, plan and view social interactions through the creation of hangs, trips & events. These are all displayed on the main map page (at the users discretion) & can be interacted with by a user's networks. The STR allows users to receive notifications when any hang, trip or event is created near them, or will coincide with the users future plans.

Hangs: a new social concept which encapsulates all private social events ranging from small close nit gatherings, hobby related meet-ups, to parties and all such socially connective gatherings which are not commercially run. Users can create hangs and share them with a choice of their network. Hangs will then will appear on the main map page & be notified to users when their STR activated.

Trips: Trips allow users to plan their journeys through multiple destinations and have them shown on the main page. Trips can be visually represented by a route or simply saving the name of the destination which will appear represented by an orange dot. They can have in-depth notes added to them & shared with any user in the network. It is also possible to suggest advice for a future trip. Wannahang will analyse the network of friends and show the names of the people that have gone to where the user is planning to, as well as the ones that have past trips from that location. That way, the user can ask for the travel suggestions directly to people that have effectively been there. Trips facilitate the awareness of the social future & will interact with the STR (if activated) to notify users when future trips come in proximity with other people, hangs or events making the chance for potential connection.

Events: Events can be submitted only by officially verified organisations and will always be public. They appear to users that enable the events icon on the map. Events offer an incredible opportunity for revenue possibilities as Wannahang onboards mass users & becomes a go to application for social organisations.

Furthermore, users will be able to follow the events they are interested in. When they follow an event, they will receive notifications for ticket release dates, updated & any other important information related to them. These ones will appear on the user's profile & they will have full control on who they would want to have access to the events they follow.
