Space Time Radar (STR)

The Space Time Radar (STR) is a unique feature of Wannahang that is integrated into the main map page and drives a users awareness of those around them.

The STR is designed to notify the user when someone within their network, hangs or events appear in the area in which they are (or will be). The radar can be activated or deactivated and the user can have a general distance for all the net of friends or set it individually with the desired km range. It can be set for the entire network of friends or for a specific group of users. This way, if they have the app's notifications switched on, the user will be notified even if they are not checking it often.

This can be activated on the map (icon at the bottom right) as well as in Settings & Privacy, where the user will be able to decide in which things they will want the STR to be activated:

• Current

• Future

• Hangs

• Events

• Allow others to add you to their STR

• Let you know when any of your contacts are a certain distance away from each other (so that one can connect and recommend friends)

The STR has an in-depth privacy feature that allows users to be aware of who is near their location & may be customised on a user to user basis. When it comes to social networking, privacy is incredibly important & Wannahang has taken immense consideration of this fact in its design.

How many times have you travelled to a country, city or even around your local area without knowing a member of your network was nearby? Since Wannahang is not driven by algorithms designed to direct your attention, users are always informed of the movements of friends (provided they choose to make their location public).
